ST Aviation Ltd sells Jabiru Dealership to Skvcraft Ltd
I am pleased to announce that over the next few days we will complete the sale of the Jabiru Dealership to Mr Dave Almey of Skycraft Ltd.
Skycraft Ltd is well known in the homebuilt world, and has been successfully trading since 1990, specialising in aircraft materials. In recent years they took over the Rans UK Dealership and have done a good job moving the brand forward.
Both Jabiru and the LAA were very keen that I sell the dealership to someone who is competent, and will be able to continue to support the product in a professional manner. It has taken over twelve months to find the right person, and I am very pleased that it is going to Dave Almey. I have known Dave for over twenty years, and he has a wealth of aviation experience. I will be supporting Dave behind the scenes for at least twelve months, and will be liasing with the LAA on certification of the J160 kit.
Having run ST Aviation Ltd for thirteen years, and sold around 170 aircraft and 500 engines it is time for a new challenge. During that time I have made many good friends with customers and Jabiru staff, have had the privilege to fly with some world class test pilots, and to date have test flown all new Jabiru types introduced into the
UK.
I am going to build a barn and pursue our film location business, having provided the location base for the production of a feature film last year called 31 North 62 East, look it up and see the film debut of the Jabiru UL-D

Dear Jabiru Owner,
It’s with great excitement that I write to advise you that Skycraft Ltd has been appointed the new Jabiru Agent for UK, Iceland and Benelux.
Kevin and the team at ST Aviation and ST Aviation Services have done a great job over the years and this change is only due to Kevin’s desire to expand his other business interests.

Skycraft have been actively supplying aviation materials for over 18 years and has been the UK
Rans agents for the last 2 years. We have the infrastructure and parts base to move the
Jabiru aircraft and parts supply to a new level.

The residual Jabiru spares stocks will be moved from Southery to Skycraft on Friday 6th February and we will then proceed to incorporate them into our spares and materials database. We expect some teething problems whist we get to grips with the initial work but hopefully the Jabiru spares will join our existing 9000 parts available for on line purchase on the web site. Once we can establish the stocks, we will be looking to increase the UK spares stock holding as required.

Murray Flint remains as Skycraft’s only appointed Jabiru airframe and repair centre. You can contact him on 07930 960984 and he is available for nationwide and continental recovery, if required.
